Our guest house is located 2 miles from La Gacilly, 11 miles from Redon in the country side of southern Brittany.
You can reach Vannes in less than 40 minutes and Rennes in 50 minutes.
The nearest port to cross the channel is Saint Malo which is an hour and a half drive away. By air to Dinard from Stanstead and by TGV/Eurostar to Redon (or Rennes). TGV Paris to Redon in 2.5 hours. We hold three keys in the 'clevacances' categorisation system (at most it's four).
We have renovated by ourselves our house for 20 years. It has been made with a lot of respect of traditional work inside and outside. We've only used wood, plaster mixed with sand, lime which is very important for this type of stone house. Here we call this stone 'schiste', with it you can't use cement because it's a porous stone ...
We invite you to have a look in the two sections 'outsides' and 'rooms'. You'll get a better idea of our work. I don't want to bother you with a long speech, it's long enough.

We have a place, a veranda, 35m² where you may eat your take away food ( micro wave is available...).
